Executive Roundtables
Aperta House roundtables are private, invitation-only discussions designed for senior leaders to explore strategic challenges in a focused, peer-led setting.
Each session brings together a small group of executives around a clearly defined topic, with the emphasis on open dialogue, shared experience, and thoughtful exchange.
The format
The roundtable format is intentionally simple. There are no presentations, panels, or scripted content. Instead, the discussion is shaped by the participants in the room, guided by an independent moderator.
By keeping groups small and the setting informal, the conversation moves beyond surface-level commentary and into practical insight, nuance, and real-world experience.
How a typical roundtable works
Each roundtable is built around a single strategic theme and takes place in person, typically over a private dinner.
The discussion is moderated to ensure balance and depth, while allowing space for different perspectives to emerge naturally. The aim is not to reach consensus, but to surface insight through dialogue.
Who attends (participant profile)
Participants are senior leaders with direct responsibility for strategy, transformation, or major decision-making within their organisations.
Attendance is by invitation, with each group curated to ensure seniority, sector relevance, and a shared level of experience around the table.
The role of supporting partners
Each roundtable is supported by a single partner organisation. Partners collaborate on defining the discussion focus and participate in the conversation as peers.
The format is deliberately non-commercial. Partners do not present or pitch, and the discussion is designed to serve the quality of the exchange rather than a sales agenda.
Rules of engagement
Discussions operate under the Chatham House Rule.
Participants contribute in a personal capacity, drawing on their own experience.
The roundtable is non-commercial, with no selling or pitching in the room.
The discussion is moderated to ensure balance, relevance, and inclusion.
Any commercial follow-up takes place after the roundtable, separate from the discussion itself.
What happens after the discussion
Following each roundtable, participants receive a short, non-attributed summary capturing the key themes explored. This is intended as a prompt for reflection rather than a record of what was said.
Partner organisations receive a separate simple debrief, offering context on areas of interest and discussion dynamics to support informed follow-up conversations.
Where deeper analysis is required, an optional executive insight report can be produced for the supporting partner, synthesising perspectives from the discussion into a structured, non-attributed intelligence asset.
The report distils key themes, areas of alignment, and emerging viewpoints, offering a credible snapshot of executive thinking that can inform strategy, messaging, and follow-up beyond the roundtable itself.
